Unlike traditional oil-based extractions or emulsified concentrates, this process uses no heat, solvents, or additives of any kind.

Founder Chris Boucher was introduced to that truth firsthand. While working one day in the early 1990s, he met legendary hemp activist Jack Herer, author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes — the landmark book that exposed how hemp’s role in medicine, agriculture, and industry was systematically erased from modern memory.
What began as a passing encounter turned into a transformative, hours-long conversation. That day, Chris’s life took a new course — and a lifelong mission began. He would go on to establish California’s first legal hemp farm, help bring hemp seeds to the global market, and dedicate his life and work to one goal: revealing the truth about hemp’s potential.
