Chris has been at the forefront of every iteration of the hemp Food and CBD industry since 1990; for having the distinction of being the first person to legally grow Hemp in the U.S. in 1994 when he planted hemp at the USDA Research Station in Brawley, California,
JuiceTiva has developed a breakthrough innovation in hemp superfoods with a revolutionary 100% Hemp Ready-to-Mix, Raw Juice Powder that is water soluble and incredibly bioavailable. Made from freshly picked young hemp leaf then cold pressed into fresh hemp juice. Our Mission and Purpose
JuiceTiva was founded with a vision of the hemp plant as a natural ally in human and planetary resilience.
Founder Chris Boucher was introduced to that truth firsthand. While working one day in the early 1990s, he met legendary hemp activist Jack Herer, author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes — the landmark book that exposed how hemp’s role in medicine, agriculture, and industry was systematically erased from modern memory.
Their encounter turned into a transformative, hours-long conversation. That day, Chris’s life took a new course — and a lifelong mission began. He would go on to establish America's first legal hemp farm in decades, help bring hemp seeds to the global market, and dedicate his life and work to one goal: educating about hemp’s true potential for our wellbeing.
JuiceTiva continues that mission today — by reintroducing hemp in its purest, most intelligent form. A living, nutrient-dense whole food for a healthier planet and people.

Industry Innovating
Over the past 35 years, Chris has co-founded multiple hemp companies, including CV Sciences (creators of PlusCBD), helped draft legislation, and traveled the world learning from hemp farmers in China, Hungary, and Korea.
He’s appeared on radio, podcasts, and national TV — always with the same mission: to restore hemp’s rightful place in food, farming, and culture. Today, he continues that legacy through JuiceTiva and beyond.
